When: Thursday August 3, 2006: 6 AM or 3 PM
What: The San Francisco Bay Area Caravan provides Defcon attendees with
a safe & inexpensive way to get to & from Las Vegas.
Our final departure points are both in Pleasanton just off I-580.
Please make sure that you have a full tank of gas and a car that
will make it to Vegas! We will not wait for car repairs, so be prepared to
abandon or stay with your car if it breaks.

Morning Leg - LEAVES @ 6 AM. Arrive early if you want to eat.

This phase of the caravan will drive directly to Vegas stopping only
for gas, food (drive-thru or take-out only), and bathroom breaks.

WE ARE NOT STOPPING AT BARNES & NOBLE, WE ARE ONLY PULLING INTO THE
PARKING LOT AND PICKING UP ANY CARS THERE, THEN MOVING ON!!!!!
Gas stop in Mojave around 8 PM, a car or 2 usually joins us there
Arrive in Las Vegas before Midnight
WHAT TO BRING
Before you come, make sure that you have a ride. If you show up at
without a ride arranged beforehand, you most likely won't get one. Or
you'll have to pay exorbatant rates. So either bring a fistful of cash,
or arrange for a ride before hand.
We recommend you bring:
- One or two extra quarts of oil
- One bottle of antifreeze and water
- Food and Drink, other than drive-thru's or take out, we are not stopping for food.
- Full-size spare tire
- FRS radio to keep in touch with the rest of the caravan.
